Happy Turkey Day, parents. Today is about celebrating all you're thankful for, especially the fact that you fed your kids a normal dinner before Thanksgiving dinner so they wouldn't crash out after eating half a dinner roll and one green bean. Thanksgiving is usually a family holiday, which means lots of quality time with your little ones, and possibly the little ones of others, which you realize is a lot less fun than your own.
The kids are off school, which means they're bounding with energy, begging to go on adventures, even when you're knee-deep in potato skins with no end in sight. But it's all worth it when you've gathered around the table with your loved ones, sharing delicious food that will definitely make you fall asleep after. And then when you're drifting off into a tryptophan-induced turkey nap, the kids can play Fortnite or whatever it is they do. And then you have these tweets as a treat.
